This is one of the popular mini desktop DAC from SMSL and well talk about in many Hifi forums eg the like of Head Fi.
The new version M8A has now upgrade their DAC chip from ES9018K2M upgrade to ES9028Q2M and XMOS U8 upgrade to the second generation XMOS-XCore200 Xu208. It now can sample from 384kHz to 768kHz, DSD is upgraded from DSD128 to DSD512, and exclusive custom driver supports Native DSD, which is the industry leader. Power input to switch to 5V DC input, the user can use the matching AC adapter, you can also use the mobile power supply as well as any linear power using 5V DC input.
